We are a small food business, not an advertising company. We collect the minimum needed to send you a jar of achar and talk to you about it, and nothing beyond that.

Marwar Ki Rasoi is a small food business run by Preeti Bishnoi, in whose name the FSSAI registration (22226081000201) is held. What we collect
- To fulfil an order: your name, email address, mobile number, delivery address and PIN code, and any delivery note you write.
- Order records: what you bought, the amount, the payment method, and the transaction reference our payment gateway returns to us.
- If you write to us: the name, email, phone number and message you submit on the contact form.
- Technical: a single session cookie that remembers your basket, and standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security and troubleshooting.
What we never see
Your card, UPI and net banking details never touch this website. Online payments are handled entirely on our payment gateway's own secure pages. We receive only the result of the transaction — success or failure, the amount, and a reference number. We cannot see, store or reuse your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking password.
Why we use it
- To process, pack, ship and support your order — this is the main reason, and it is a contractual necessity.
- To contact you about that order by phone, WhatsApp or email.
- To meet our obligations under food safety, tax and consumer protection law.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent transactions.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you have specifically asked us to.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, only with the following, and never for their own marketing:
- Our payment gateway — an RBI-authorised payment aggregator, to process online payments. Card, UPI and net banking credentials are entered on their pages, never on ours.
- Courier partners — your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver the parcel.
- Our web host and email provider — as processors, to run the site and send order emails.
- Government authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. Ever.
Cookies
This site sets one essential cookie (mkr_session) so that your basket survives from page to page and so that admin sign-in works. It expires when you close your browser. We do not run advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
- Order records: kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law, currently 8 years.
- Contact-form enquiries: up to 2 years.
- Server logs: up to 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. You can also withdraw consent for any processing that relies on it. Write to marwarkirasoi7@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Admin access is password-protected and orders are stored on a server we control. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not keep anything we do not need, and payment credentials are never among what we hold.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be mentioned on the home page.
